How To Perform Dumbbell Walking Lunge
- Stand upright holding a dumbbell in each hand to prepare. Place your feet about hip-width apart and engage your core to keep your torso stable.
- Step forward with one leg and inhale as you slowly lower your body by bending the front knee.
- At the same time, lower the back knee until it nearly touches the floor, while allowing the front knee to bend naturally in the direction of your toes.
- Press through the heel of your front foot to stand back up, exhaling as you bring the back leg forward to transition smoothly into the next lunge.
- Repeat this movement alternately on each side while continuing to move forward.
