Instruction
- Stand upright while holding a dumbbell in each hand. Place your feet shoulder-width apart and engage your core to stabilize your body.
- While holding the dumbbells, lower yourself into a burpee. Lower your chest close to the floor, then push your upper body up with a push-up motion and return to a standing position.
- Using the momentum from standing up, pull the dumbbells toward your body and, in one continuous motion, lift them overhead. Rather than lifting only with your arms, use the power of your hips and legs to drive the movement with your entire body.
- Control the dumbbells steadily overhead, then lower them back to the floor and return to the starting position.
