How To Perform Bird Dog

  1. Start on all fours with your hands placed under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
  2. Engage your core and keep your spine straight as you extend one arm and the opposite leg straight out, forming a straight line with your body.
  3. Slowly return to the extended arm and leg to the starting position.
  4. Repeat the same movement with the other arm and leg, alternating sides.
