How To Perform Barbell Overhead Squat

  1. Hold the barbell widely (snatch grip) and lift it above your head.
  2. Push up the shoulder blades and fully extend the elbows to secure the barbell.
  3. Lower your hips to squat. Be careful not to tilt your upper body and bend your arms.
  4. Use the strength of your glutes and lower body to return to the position in step 2.
