How To Perform Dumbbell Shrug

  1. Stand up straight with a dumbbell in each hand. Your palms should be facing your torso, with your arms extended to your sides.
  2. Raise the dumbbells by lifting your shoulders as high as possible, exhaling as you do so. Hold the contraction at the top for a second.
  3. Bring the dumbbells back to the starting position.
